The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance projects over 100,000 REALTORS® have an LGBTQ+ child. By joining us, you can support your child, deepen your understanding of the community, and connect with referral partners nationwide.

Show your commitment to the LGBTQ+ community by joining the most influential real estate group dedicated to this cause. We enjoy the full support of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), 50+ state and local associations, and the industry’s largest brands and lenders.

Founded in June 2020, the Alliance has quickly grown to over 3,500 members and 50 chapters. Notably, 23% of our members are allies. Our chapter presidents frequently seek speakers for local events on market trends and member-focused topics.

We often hear from brokers and agents asking how they can help. Beyond joining the Alliance, here are key steps:

Remove Barriers: Lead locally to ensure LGBTQ+ professionals and consumers have equal footing.

Establish Policy: Enforce a strict non-discrimination policy that aligns with the NAR Code of Ethics, prohibiting bias based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

Seek Internal Input: Ask your LGBTQ+ staff for guidance on creating a safe, inclusive environment.

Create Resource Groups: Form Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with leadership sponsors to amplify diverse voices.

  • NGLCC: Expands economic opportunities for the LGBTQ+ business community.
  • GLAAD: Leads cultural change to accelerate LGBTQ+ acceptance.

  • SAGE: Advocates and provides services for LGBTQ+ elders.
